  Presbyopia
Up until 2005 there was no curative treatment from this disorder.  Bifocal glasses or contact lenses were useful to correct presbyopia, but required frequent prescription adjustments.  Now surgeons at Metrolina Eye Associates offer the ReSTOR® multi-focal intraocular implant which can permanently solve this problem.
