Dr. Kalie Leone earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Bioethics from the University of Virginia. She then pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Professional
Dr. Leone is a board-certified optometrist who completed an Ocular Disease Residency at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. While at the University of Virginia, she was an active member of the Pre-Optometry Club and worked in the UVA Health System’s Ophthalmology department. Dr. Leone has also gained valuable experience as an Ophthalmic Testing Technician in Virginia.
Special Interest
Dr. Leone specializes in comprehensive eye exams for adults and children ages 14 and older. She is fluent in Spanish and offers eye exams in both English and Spanish. Dr. Leone is experienced in managing patients with ocular diseases, including diabetes and glaucoma.
Personal
Dr. Leone enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring new restaurants. She resides in the South End neighborhood with her fiancé, Kurt, and their golden retriever, Spencer.
