Dr. Peterson graduated with highest honors from Montana State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology & Neuroscience. He then went on to receive his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, graduating cum laude. He completed both his ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in Glaucoma at Emory University.

Originally from North Dakota, Dr. Peterson spent much of his childhood in Montana, where he and his wife developed a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as golfing, hiking, and skiing.
