Education: Dr. Madison Angell graduated with distinction from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she was awarded the Outstanding Clinician Award. While in school, she completed various internship and externships training in various specialty clinics, which enhanced her expertise in ocular disease management, comprehensive eye exams, and medically necessary contact lens fits.
Professional: Dr. Angell is board-certified in Optometry and has completed an Ocular Disease Residency at W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. Dr. Angell is actively involved in professional organizations such as the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, the American Academy of Optometry, and the North Carolina Optometric Society.
Special Interest: Dr. Angell specializes in comprehensive eye care and the management of ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetes.
Personal: Born and raised in Plains, Kansas, Dr. Angell now makes her home in Ballantyne, NC with her fiancé, Drew, and their dog, Jasper. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, and exploring the city with friends and family.
